Amaury Faye Trio finalist of the Jazz en Ville National Competition 2016

Amaury Faye Trio has been selected for the 2016 edition of the national contest of "Jazz en Ville" festival. The trio will perform in front of an audience and a jury on Friday, July 29th. 

The Jazz en Ville national contest will receive 12 different projects coming from different parts of France. The contest will take place during 4 days in the city of Vannes (Bretagne, France) and the winner will play for the festival the same day at night on the central stage ("Les Remparts"). This performance will happen shortly after the national competition Rezzo-Focal Jazz à Vienne, on Thursday, June 30th, and only a few days before the european contest of Avignon.

With four major competitions in a few months, this year is decisive for the trio which is gaining a certain recognition by both the public and the professionals. Those special events are preceding two future national tours that should be officially announced pretty soon.
