AMAURY FAYE TRIO FINALIST OF THE INTERNATIONAL AVIGNON JAZZ CONTEST 2016

Amaury Faye Trio has been selected for the 2016 edition of the european jazz contest "Tremplin Jazz d'Avignon". The trio will perform in front of an audience and a jury on Monday, August 1st. 

The Avignon international jazz competition will receive 6 different projects coming from different parts of Europe. This competition is recognized as a major contest and this is a second time in one year that Amaury Faye's new project has the honor to be a part of an international event. This performance will happen shortly after the national competition Rezzo-Focal Jazz à Vienne, on Thursday, June 30th.

"The Tremplin Jazz d'Avignon organizes a competition called "Avignon’s Jazz Contest", which aimed to promote young jazz musicians or young jazz bands. It is opened to any European bands, from duet to sextet (max) which practice musical forms of jazz and improvised music, except for the bands awarded the previous years."
