This month of January 2017 is going to be pretty special for Initiative H (founded and led by french saxophonist David Haudrechy) which will celebrates its 5 years of existence.
Since its creation in 2012, Initiative H became a major project in contemporary french creation. Its excellence has been aknowledged by the press and the public and the collective still has a lot of things to say. This 5 years anniversary will be celebrated in the city where everything has begun: Toulouse, France.
The first part of the birthday party will take place on Saturday, January 14th at l'Impro (a place well known by the musicians). The bar will present a photo exhibition of french photographer Romain Serrano about the history of Initiative H since its creation and a documentary feature by Mayol entitled IH 5 Years Too Young To Die. For this event people will be able to know more about the project and meet the musicians and other mates who participated to the adventure.
The second part will happen five days later at Le Rex on Thursday, January 19th with an entire show of Initiative H with Emile Parisien as guest. The band will play songs from its 2 albums Deus Ex Machina (Neuklang - 2013) and Darkwave (Neuklang - 2015).
