RUST: Amaury Faye NOLA Quartet's first album to be released soon

Piano prodigy and one of the most distinctive voices in French jazz Amaury Faye returns with a blazing lineup: jazz legend Herlin Riley on drums, rising tenor sax star Julian Lee, and one of the brightest new talents in American jazz, bassist Amina Scott. RUST is wild dances under the rusted bridges of Tremé, freight trains rumbling along the banks of the Mississippi, sirens wailing through the 9th Ward, rice and beans thrown together on a neighbor’s porch, and the eccentric youth who roam downtown and vacant lots in their surreal costumes.

“The knockout album of the year, straight from the heart of New Orleans: a masterful collision between the burning, organic rhythms of New Orleans and the cinematic universe of Amaury Faye.”
