Hypnote Records will release the Amaury Faye Trio’s Live in Brussels on October 26, 2018. The pianist and his trio, featuring french bassist Louis Navarro and french drummer Théo Lanau, perform four Faye originals combined with interpretations of a jazz tune (Thelonious Monk) and two songs from the American songbook (George Gershwin and Jerome Kern).
French crew Initiative H will release its new album Broken Land (Neuklang - 2018) on May 18th. Two release shows will happen right after: May 26th at Le Metronum in Toulouse and May 31st in Paris at the Jazz Café Montparnasse. You can also support the band on Kisskissbankbank until May 4th!
This Sunday, March 11th, Amaury will be interviewed on RTBF Radio Musiq3' in Laurent Graulus's line up "Puisque vous avez du talent" about his career, his trio, the Lundis d'Hortense's Jazz Tour 2018 and some other news, including the new album "Live in Brussels".
This wednesday, the Amaury Faye Trio will record its second album "Live In Brussels" at the club Jazz Station in Brussels. The concert will be recorded by Musiq'3 (RTBF) and broadcasted in a few weeks.
